Dr Michael Ash was in full-time clinical practice for 25 years during which time he founded and developed one of the largest integrative medicine practice in the south west of England, incorporating the philosophy of functional medicine from 1991 onward.
He is registered with the General Osteopathic Council & The British Naturopathic Association, the British Association of Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapy, the Nutritional Therapy Council, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and an elected member of the RSM’s Food and Health Council.
Michael is no longer in full-time practice but now devotes time to research, writing and the management of complex immune-mediated illnesses through the application of natural and pharmaceutical interventions. He is also part of the Clinical Education team. Clinical Education is a ‘not for profit’ organisation that brings a range of educational experiences to healthcare professionals.
